Delete your account and data
The fastest way is inside the app: Settings › Account › Delete account. No email, no support ticket, no waiting on us.
1. Delete it yourself, in the app
- Open Snapline and go to Settings.
- Open Account.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
The app tells you exactly what will be destroyed before you confirm, because what deletion means depends on your situation — see below.
2. What deletion actually does
A Snapline account always belongs to an organisation, and the organisation owns the photographs. So “delete my account” means one of three things.
You are the only person in your organisation
This is most accounts, because signing up creates an organisation for you. Everything goes: every photograph and the stored image files behind it, notes, voice notes, reports, projects, walkthroughs, share links (which stop working immediately), audit records, your sign-in identity and the organisation itself. The retention window does not apply — live records are destroyed too, not just ones you had already deleted.
You are a member of a company that has other people in it
Your personal data is destroyed: your name, your email address, your sign-in identity, your devices and push tokens, and your notification inbox. Your attribution on past work becomes anonymous.
The company's photographs stay. They are pictures of your employer's customers' properties, taken on the company's account, under the company's retention policy, and they are the company's records of work performed — often the evidence in a payment or liability dispute. The company, not us, is the controller of that content. If you want it removed, ask the account holder; if you believe they are refusing unlawfully, write to privacy@voice2jobs.com and we will help.
You are the only owner of a company that has other people in it
We refuse, and tell you why. Deleting you would leave a company nobody can administer, still holding homeowners' photographs. Make someone else an owner first, or delete the organisation itself — which destroys everything in it, including your colleagues' work, so the app makes you say so explicitly.
3. If you are the only owner of a company
To hand over ownership: Settings › Team, open the person who should take over, and change their role to Owner. Then delete your own account.
4. Cancel the subscription separately
Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Subscriptions are billed by Apple, and only you can cancel one: on your device, open Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions, pick Snapline, and tap Cancel Subscription. Do this before or after deleting, but do it.
5. Export first if you want a copy
Deletion is final. If you want to keep your photographs, export them before you start — Settings › Photos & data. Photographs you took with Snapline's camera were also saved to your device's photo library at the time you took them.
6. If you cannot get into the app
If you have lost access to the app or your device, write to privacy@voice2jobs.com from the email address on the account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We will verify that the request is yours before acting on it, because a deletion request from the wrong person is a data-loss attack.
7. How long it takes
Deletion begins immediately on confirmation, and large libraries are erased in batches, so the last stored file may take up to 30 days to be removed from live systems. Backups age out on their own cycle and are never restored to reinstate a deleted account. We may keep a minimal record that the account existed and was deleted, and records the law requires us to keep, such as tax records of a subscription.
